Genetics and Bioengineering
Genetics and bioengineering (GBE) laboratories consist of four parts. These laboratories provide basic and applied research in the area of Genetics and Bioengineering (GBE). Genetics and Bioengineering Laboratories are used for undergraduate studies, which facilitates required working environments for the students to get familiar with fundamental concepts of GBE, whereas the other three laboratories are devoted to research purposes at the graduate level.
The laboratories offer to the beneficiaries the opportunity of conducting experiments on gene and protein engineering, microbial analysis, and provides the core technologies used in molecular cell biology which investigates DNA, RNA, chromosomes, proteins, and certain metabolites in the cell.
GBE laboratories:
- Student Tutorial Lab
- Microbiology
- Cell Culture
- Genetics & Molecular Biology
- Preparation Lab
- Molecular Diagnostic lab (under establishment)
