IUS Research and Development Center is a modern research center that covers an area of 1,300 square meters. The Center provides laboratories specialized in the following scientific fields: bioengineering, genetics, chemistry, physics, mechanical and electrical engineering.

The aim of the IUS Research and Development Center is to provide good working conditions for scientific staff and students in their projects, to establish communication and information sharing as well as developing new projects with other research centers, institutions and companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world. In the future, besides for research purposes, the center will be used for industrial cooperation purposes as well.

Mission

To promote, develop and facilitate creative endeavors, research and development at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) that fosters the technological, economic and social wellbeing of BIH, in collaboration with government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the private sector.

Vision

To become the most developed educational and research-oriented center in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a leading institute in research and creative endeavors, and a center that will have a great contribution to the socio-economic development in BiH.
