Matrakçı Workshop
IUS Matrakçı Workshop is a part of the project titled "Workshops of Thought, Science, and Technology Matrakçı" and supported by the Ministry of National Education of Turkey. It is equipped by 3D printer, Arduino sets, Fischertechnik mechanical-static system, laptops, special table for competition of robots and other consumables and hand tools.
Named by Nasuh Matrakçı, Nasuh Matrakči born in the 16th century in Visoko, B&H, educated and served at the courts of several Ottoman sultans. He is considered one of the most prominent chroniclers of that period, having left behind significant works in mathematics, military strategy, literature, cartography, art, and calligraphy. This workshop is a place where ideas are born, knowledge is created, and the skills acquired open the doors to the future.
