Organized under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the event featured 15 teams from various high schools and elementary schools who presented their innovative projects to an audience of guests, school directors, dignitaries, and a jury of IUS professors.

The projects were evaluated on presentation, design, complexity, and functionality, giving students a chance to demonstrate both their creativity and technical skills. The competition created a dynamic atmosphere of learning, collaboration, and innovation, reflecting the values of education and progress that IUS promotes.

The official ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including H.E. Emin Akseki, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to BiH, Dr. Faruk Berat Akçeşme, Counsellor for Education of the Turkish Embassy, Adisa Alikadić-Herić, Cantonal Minister of Education of Bosnia Podrinje Canton, IUS Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, and other dignitaries and school representatives.

At the closing ceremony, the winners of the competition were officially announced, with the top three teams recognized for their outstanding achievements. The Matrakçı Technology Competition not only celebrated the success of these young innovators but also strengthened ties between educational institutions, local communities, and international partners. By hosting such initiatives, IUS reaffirms its commitment to nurturing creativity, scientific excellence, and cross-border collaboration.
