IUS Research and Development Center Hosts Successful Protein Isolation and Quantification Workshop
The IUS Research and Development Center (RDC) organized a workshop on "Protein Isolation and Quantification from Human Cell Culture" on Friday, May 24, 2024. The workshop brought together professors and assistants from medical faculties in Banja Luka, Foča, and Mostar, the Faculty of Pharmacy in Mostar, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Sarajevo.
Led by the experienced Dr. Lejla Mahmutović, Assistant Professor at IUS, the workshop aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in protein analysis techniques. With generous sponsorship from MikroPolo company, the event provided a platform for medical professionals to share expertise in protein isolation and quantification.
In addition to practical work, Mr. Igor Pongrac, MikroPolo's Regional Marketing Manager, provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in protein isolation and quantification through his presentation on new equipment and technologies. Participants also learned practical tips and tricks for protein isolation and quantification techniques.
The workshop concluded with a survey, where participants expressed high satisfaction with the organization, the IUS RDC team, and the overall experience.
