IUS Showcases Research and Development Centre at ZEPS 2025 Opening Ceremony
Zenica, September 10, 2025 – The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is proudly taking part in the 29th International General BH Economy Fair – ZEPS 2025, presenting its state-of-the-art Research and Development Centre along with some of the most sophisticated equipment showcased at this year’s event.
The official opening ceremony, held today in Zenica, was attended by distinguished guests, representatives of leading companies, and government officials. The IUS management, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Kuşakcı, was present to mark this important occasion, underlining the university’s commitment to innovation, regional cooperation, and knowledge transfer between academia and industry.
With nearly 500 companies and more than 2,000 brands represented, ZEPS 2025 has once again confirmed its status as the largest economic fair in Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing together business leaders from the Western Balkans, Europe, and beyond. The fair is focused on strengthening regional cooperation, building stronger ties among the economies of the Western Balkans, and promoting a joint approach to global markets.
The IUS Research and Development Centre drew significant attention from both domestic and international visitors. By presenting its cutting-edge laboratories, technological resources, state-of-the art equipment and ongoing projects, IUS emphasized its role as a driver of scientific innovation in the region.
