Youth Center “Ivan Pavao II” and TCP Social Innovation Lab Participants Visit IUS
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) welcomed representatives of the Youth Center “Ivan Pavao II” and their international guests participating in the seminar “Towards Collaborative Practice: TCP Social Innovation Lab.” The seminar, held in Sarajevo from October 20 to 24, 2025, gathered participants from across Europe and the Western Balkans to explore new models of social innovation and cooperation.
The visitors were greeted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jasmin Šutković, Director of the IUS Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IAE), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Azra Bičo from the IUS Faculty of Business and Administration (FBA).
Dr. Šutković presented the mission and ongoing initiatives of the IAE Center, emphasizing its role in fostering innovation, research, and startup culture at IUS. Dr. Bičo introduced the Faculty of Business and Administration, highlighting its academic programs and projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Following the presentations, the guests toured the IUS campus and visited the Research and Development Center (RDC), where they learned more about IUS’s interdisciplinary approach to education, innovation, and collaboration with industry and international partners.
The seminar itself was organized in the framework of an EU Social Innovation Lab, bringing together over 30 participants from Erasmus+ Program countries, the Eastern Partnership, the Southern Mediterranean, and the Western Balkans. Among them were government representatives, business leaders, civil society activists, academics, and media professionals - all committed to advancing collaborative social change.
